What is Anchored?
Anchored is an apologetics course geared to help students answer the questions they are asking about our faith and culture. Students are bombarded by various worldviews daily at school, on social media, in the news, and among their friends. Amidst these worldviews, it can be challenging for students to know what is the truth.
We designed Anchored to help students anchor into God’s truth admist our cultural storm. This school year, we will answer six questions non-believers frequently ask or challenge Christians on.
Anchored is taught by members of Riverpoint who have a passion for students and God’s truth. They desire to help students see Jesus clearly and embrace God’s truth.

The Reliability of Scripture- 9/24/23
Can I trust the Bible in my hands? Hasn't the Bible been changed many times? Isn't the Bible just some old and outdated book? Join us on September 24th as we look at the reliability of Scripture and answer questions like these and many more.
The Existence of God- 10/22/23
How do I know God exists? Is it reasonable in our modern world to believe in God? Hasn't Darwinism disproved the idea of intelligent design? Many in the secular world will tell students it is unreasonable to believe in God. Join us on October 22nd as we look at the existence of God and answer questions like these and many more.
The Problem of Evil- 11/12/23
If God is all-powerful and good, why is there so much evil in this world? Why did my loved one have to die? Unfortunately, evil is a part of the world we live in. It can be challenging for many to reconcile how God could allow so much evil in this world. Join us on November 12th as we look at the problem of evil and answer questions like these and many more.
The Historicity of The Resurrection- 1/28/24
Did Jesus really resurrect from the dead? Can we trust the eyewitness testimonies found in the gospels? Join us on January 28th as we look at the historicity of the resurrection and help students see how Jesus' resurrection is true and is the best explanation to explain the explosion of the church after Christ walked out of the tomb.
Gender and Sexuality- 2/25/24
Are there really only two genders? Why does it matter who I love? Did God really only design marriage to be between one man and one woman? The topic of gender and sexuality is prevalent in culture. Christians are looked at by many in the secular world as archaic and oppressive for their beliefs on this topic. Join us on February 25th as we look at the issue of gender and sexuality.
Only One Way? - 4/14/24
Is there really only one way to heaven? Are all other religions and beliefs wrong? Why is Jesus the only way to salvation? Our society today has a plurality of different beliefs and religions. Seeing how Jesus is the only way to salvation can be hard amid these different beliefs and religions. Join us on April 14th as we dive into this topic.
